A larger percentage of what we do with our life on earth is not in fun, pleasure, entertainment, relationship or love but mostly in work, career, businesses, ministries and whatever vocation one chooses. Even in marriage most of the time you spend as a married person is at your work place; so we are all ambitious in one way or other.
We desire new breaks, promotions, leads, more sales, in fact as some would put it more money. The hustle must be blessed no matter what it takes. But what happens when we work and hustle so hard yet it seems we are just vacillating back and forth?
Most people focus on where they hope to be tomorrow while they forget where they are coming from and where they presently are. Yes there will be disappointments at some point but you have changed level also. You are no longer where you use to be.
You need to move stop grieving and start giving thanks. No matter your belief system; whether Christian or Muslim or otherwise it is for your own good that you show gratitude to your source. Don’t take anything for granted. Always be thankful for everything and every moment because life itself is not a right but a privilege.
As a start-up business you might be going through some hard time in breaking even, still give thanks for the ability to start a business or even getting idea. Also don’t be a bridge burner but a builder. Reach out to people who have made impact at one point in time and show gratitude to them. You don’t lose anything giving thanks but you gain everything for being grateful for the present.
Thanksgiving among other things preserves the blessing, perfects situations in our lives, multiplies blessings, and an avenue for fresh auction, drive and energy to do more.
So in this new week and a great Monday morning rather complain about the pressures that will come for work, thank God for at least for having a work to do. There are many things to give thanks for.
Keep counting your blessings.
