DID YOU KNOW? |ABOUT MADIBA

  • NELSON MANDELA AS PRESIDENT OF SOUTH AFRICA ALWAYS WOKE UP AT 4:30 IN THE MORNING, GOT DRESSED, FOLDED HIS PYJAMAS AND MADE HIS BED. THIS RITUAL WAS STARTED BEFORE PRISON IN HIS FORTIES AND AS A LAWYER AND ESTABLISHED DURING HIS 27 YEARS IN PRISON.
  • THIS HE DID AT SOMEONE’S ELSE’S HOME, IN A LUXURY HOTEL, OR AFTER SPENDING THE NIGHT AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE OR THE WHITE HOUSE. HE WOKE UP UNFAILINGLY AT 4:30 AND MADE HIS BED.
  • HIS ROOM CLEANERS ALL OVER THE WORLD WOULD REACT ON DISCOVERING THAT HE HAD DONE HALF OF THEIR JOB. SO WAS A LADY IN SHANGHAI ASSIGNED TO HIS HOTEL SUITE. SHE WAS SHOCKED BY HIS INDIVIDUALIST BEDROOM MANNERS.
  • MANDELA HAD TO INVITE HER, APOLOGIZED AND EXPLAINED THAT MAKING HIS BED WAS LIKE BRUSHING HIS TEETH, IT WAS SOMETHING HE COULDN’T RESTRAIN HIMSELF FROM DOING.
