I am a practicing Christian who is proud of saying that I love God and whatever He was, still is and will continue to be. His precepts are worthy and does not repose any burden on us, His blessings makes rich without any form of sorrow added to it and many more beautiful things that are embedded in the good book. Yes the Holy Bible.
It is a book of books, a book that a wise man said is the oldest yet with the most latest news. The bible though has been around for centuries and was written a long time ago still has the potent power, truths, and words to address issues of the 21st century and beyond. Personally I have discovered matters of finance, business, fashion, design, writing and more in this great book.
Studying the bible makes you wiser in words in words, deeds and action. Now knowing about God is not enough or hearing about Him from people but having a personal experience is what really matters every day. Dan. 11: 32 tell us that those who know their God shall be strong and they shall do exploits. One crucial way to know about this God is by eating the Word, studying and meditating on His wisdom as delivered by the Holy Spirit.
The bible of all things contains God’s plan and purpose for us. We discover our inheritance as His children; we know what is rightly ours simply by studying more and asking the Holy Spirit to help us.[ctt title=”Blackmail God by reminding Him of His Words concerning that situation in your life; the Word of God is that object of blackmail.” tweet=”Blackmail God by reminding Him of His Words concerning that situation in your life; the Word of God is that object of blackmail.” coverup=”13lQd”]
What happens even after studying and knowing our inheritance and still things are not working as God made us understand? What do you do?
The religious or spiritual thing to do is to approach God in prayer and pour out our hearts to Him but sometimes telling Him what we want is not enough. YOU THEN HAVE TO BLACKMAIL GOD. Guess what He too wants us to do so. How you might ask?
Start telling Him what He said in His Word. Remind Him of Deut. 28:13 where He said we would be the head and not the tail and you have actually fulfilled the condition of keeping His commandment. Ask Him why you are still sick even when He said that He will heal us of all our infirmities (Ps. 103:3).
The bible is a book of promises and inheritances as Christians and discovering them is not enough. While you are expected to do the demands, sometimes you have to confront God and remind Him what he said in certain verses. If He said it, why then has He not done it?
Blackmail God by reminding Him of His Words concerning that situation in your life; the Word of God is that object of blackmail.
